    ONE MAP GOA GIS promotes key pillars of support, transparency, and accountability in State governance, utilizing cutting-edge GIS technology to efficiently share accessible spatial data through user-friendly applications for citizens and departments, fostering self-reliance and empowerment.
    Spatial Analysis:
    Perform accurate geospatial analysis, with Tools/ features such as Nearest Me, Around Me, Spot Compare, Swipe Compare, Measure Tool etc. to facilitate informed decision-making
    Field Data Collection:
    Collect real-world data directly into ONE MAP GOA GISPortal through SurveyOneMapGoa Mobile App for accurate field data collection.
    Access Geo Spatial Data:
    Seamless access to Departmental Data enhances cross-department collaboration, decision-making at ground level.
    Plot Information:
    Plot information tool enables users to locate plot positions using survey numbers. It also provides easy access to land parcel data and plot zoning maps, simplifying property analysis and decision-making.
    Enhancing E-Governance:
    The Citizen Feedback feature enables authorities to take action by utilizing geotagged input reported by the citizens.
    Vehicle Tracking:
    Utilizing spatial data to monitor and analyze the real-time movements and locations of Government vehicles.
    Urban Planning:
    Mapped infrastructure can seamlessly integrate into third-party applications used for local-level planning, such as SMART CITY initiatives, and at the national level, including initiatives like PM Gati Shakti, through Web Mapping Services (WMS).

    What is the One Map Goa Platform?

    “One Map Goa GIS Portal” is a single integrated Map platform, wherein both Government Department and Citizens can get all location-based information. Our mission is to enhance services by facilitating location-based GIS data for planning, e-governance, better resource utilisation, and streamlining the IT sector in the state of Goa.

    What is Map Viewer

    A map viewer is a software tool or application designed to display geographic information in the form of maps. The primary function of a map viewer is to allow users to visualize spatial data, explore geographic features, and interact with maps for various purposes.
      1. Viewing Maps: Map viewers provide users with the ability to view maps of different geographic regions, including street maps, satellite imagery, topographic maps, and more.
      2. Navigation: Users can navigate around maps by panning (moving the map in different directions), zooming in and out to change the scale.

    What types of data can be analyzed using GIS applications?

    GIS applications can analyze various types of data including spatial data (geographic features like points, lines, polygons), attribute data (descriptive information associated with spatial features), and temporal data (time-based information).

    How to report a problem?

    Citizen Feedback Option provided in both Map Viewer and Citizen Portal. The organizations or authorities responsible for the mapped area may take action based on the feedback provided by citizens. This could involve addressing reported issues, implementing improvements, or communicating with the community about the feedback received.
